Congratulations to S.C.S.C., Guanacos FC,  Indy FC, Red Knights and ABCDE FC for advancing to the second round of the tournament in their respective divisions.  At this point we will likely be scheduling Round 2 for Sunday August 18 or 25 in Markham - stay tuned for updates.

Greylions - 2018 Division A Playoff / Regular Season Champions / Archangel Cup Champions.  Playing their first year in the league, the Greylions had an amazing season by capturing all three titles and becoming the first team since S.C.S.C in 2015 to win the treble.  The playoff finals against Super Eagles was a back and forth match that had to go to extra time before Niall Crosbie netted his second goal of the game to clinch the title.  Niall was named Finals MVP and capped one of the best individual season performances in league history.  Great season guys!!

Scarborough Spartans - 2018 Division B Playoff / Regular Season Champions.  The Scarborough Spartans also had an amazing season - with an undefeated record in the regular season before sweeping the playoffs.  The playoff finals against Guanacos FC was an close intense game, with Golden Boot winner Cole Cleland scoring two goals to pace the Spartans to a 3-2 win.  Nickolas Westcott of the Scarborough Spartans was named Finals MVP for his stellar goalkeeping - he also won the Golden Glove award for the regular season.  These guys have come a long way since entering the league as a group of individual players in 2016...  well done guys!!
